Draft Tournament

• Four on four adult hockey tournament.
• Individual Registration 
• Each Division has four teams competing in round robin, semi-final and championship game play.
• Tournament Divisions:
  • UPPER - Advanced | Intermediate  Skill | A , B and C1.
  • LOWER - Beginner | Recreational Skill | C2, C3 and D.
• The tournament will include a draft party to draft the teams.
• Games will be live streamed on PinevilleiceTV.

• Friday Draft Party, Saturday & Sunday, September 1-3, 2023.  This is our inaugural draft tournament. 
• Our 2024 tournament will take place on Labor Day Weekend.

The draft will take place Friday September 1st, 2023 in the Bar at Pineville Ice House.

Round robin games are played all day Saturday.  Playoff and championship games are played on Sunday. Refer to the schedule at the bottom of this page for game times and tournament results.

• Four Game Guarantee - Each team plays three round robin games plus at least one playoff game.  Two teams from each Division play a fifth championship game.
• Game Time - A two minute warmup time will be provided prior to the game.  Games consist of two, 20 minute running time halves with a final minute of stopped time if a one goal differential or a tie exists.
• Standings - Two points for winning a game; one point for tying a round robin game.
• Seeding Tie Breakers - Head to head results, fewest penalty minutes, fewest goals against.
• Playoff Ties - Three player shoot-out followed by alternating, single player sudden death rounds.
• Penalties - Two minute running time (5 min major).  Any player that receives four penalties in a game will be ejected.
• Penalty Time - Stopped time if clock is stopped in final minute of play. 
• Other Rules - Pineville Adult League rules apply in absence of Tournament guidelines.
• Timeouts - No timeouts during round robin.

• Rosters will be drafted during the draft party. 
• Each team will have a minimum of eight skaters plus a goalie.
• Players must play at the appropriate level. 
• Upper Division - A B and C1 players 
• Lower Division - C2, C3 and D players 
• The Director reserves the right to reject players or teams or to move players or teams to different levels.

Tournament Jerseys will be provided.  Players may keep their jersey as a souvenir.  Team jersey colors are Gold, Silver, Teal, and Scarlet.  

The tournament includes participant souvenir jersey and team tournament awards.

Players will register as an individual for the tournament. Players will pick what level you play at for the registration to be put into the correct draft for the draft party. 

The REGISTRATION DEADLINE is Friday, August 25th. You must pay in full at registration.
