Eight to sixteen figure skaters perform a program set to music. Team members skate in unison with formations that include lines, blocks, circles, wheels and intersections along with required turns and step sequences. Our teams compete regionally and nationally at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. The competitive season runs September through February.
Skaters use music, costume, props and choreography to tell a story. Acting, facial expressions and audience appeal are very important in Theatre On Ice. This program is open to all skaters level Basic 3 Skate and up. No theatre on ice or synchronized skating experience is necessary. Skaters perform local exhibitions and compete nationally once per season.
