Admission & Registration
All players and coaches must register online for sessions in advance and check in upon arrival at the rink. If you are new to our online registration process or have questions, please review our Self Service Account Instructions.
The admission price is $15 for skaters and all coaches. Goalie admission is $5.
Package purchases are non-refundable. Reservations may be canceled up to 24 hours before the session start time.
Attendance is typically restricted to 26 skaters and four goalies.
Registration closes at the session start time or when the session fills. See "Waitlist" section below if a session is full when you go to register.
If not all spaces are claimed via online registration, then walk on customers are admitted at $20 per skater and $10 per goalie.
Waitlist
If a session is full, you may select the Waitlist option.
If a Registered customer cancels 24 hours or more before the start of a session time:
You are automatically registered for the session if you are the next Waitlist player.
You will receive an email notification.
You have up to 24 hours before the start of a session to cancel your registration using your Self Service Account.
Once we are within 24 hours of the session start time, all Registrations are final. No cancellations are accepted from original Registrations or from Registrations converted from the Waitlist. No more Waitlist players are accepted.
You may cancel your Waitlist reservation up to 24 hours before the start of a session. Waitlist reservations expire 24 hours before the start of an event.
Rules & Conduct
Full gear is recommended. Helmet, gloves and long pants are required. No shorts. For more information concerning what gear is required please consult our Gear Guide.
Sessions are not suitable for beginning skaters. Inexperienced youth players should be accompanied by an adult.
Slapshots or other hard shots are not permitted when other skaters are near the goal.
Full and half ice scrimmages are not permitted.
Small area games are permitted if they do not interfere with other skaters and are confined to one goal.
The Manager On Duty has full discretion to limit or prohibit any games, drills, lessons or activities which they deem unsafe or disruptive to other customers.
Players that disobey rules or instructions from the rink staff may be ejected from the ice and the facility without a refund.
Private Lessons
Only coaches that have been granted permission by the Hockey Department may teach private hockey lessons at the Pineville Ice House.
A lesson must consist of one coach and only one, two or three skaters.
Group lessons with four or more students are not permitted.
Skaters not in a lesson have the right of way.
Coaches must accommodate and respect all skaters on the ice.
The Rink Manager may impose additional restrictions or prohibit a lesson.
Lessons may not monopolize goals, pucks or space.
Training aids such as cones or stick handling tools must be confined to the space immediately around the coach and student.
